Summary

Well this is the end of my first college project. It was interesting and exciting. It definitely made me think in ways I haven't before. Having no experience in anything entrepreneur related. This project was certainly a great experience. My idea hasn't changed so much but it has changed. I wanted to make something useful and fun and even something I might even use. I wanted an idea that would I could help my friends because I know for sure they have been in these situations far too many times.
Honestly I am really happy with what the outcome was even though there are still plenty of things I could and have to do when if i were go on. I would have to think more about what would go in the product before I think about selling and marketing. I have to come up with an ACTUAL product otherwise it would just be silly to talk about something that does not exist yet. It really put things in perspective when I had to incorporate the class's lecture towards my idea because if I were to do the exact same project perhaps by myself or another project I would not think about the technical aspects or even using social media as advertisement. This class has really guided me through it.
My idea went from a battery all the way to a service that people pay for or even something separate. It been a really interesting. I did not know how difficult it was to come up with an idea and stick with it and actually do things to make it happen. It makes me think about everything in this world and how everything was thought of.

blog #7

Well its almost to the end and I do not think I have made much improvement in my idea and it will probably be scrapped by the end of this project. But who knows. I sure don't. Last week we talked about networks. Which gave me another idea but something that just popped up and probably won't think any further of it. It probably has nothing to do with networks but I was thinking instead of being physical maybe it could be a game totally different for what I was going for I know. But as I said before it is probably something I would not pursue if I were to have the chance.
So for networks I was thinking about maybe making it available to connect with other people, possibly the owner's friends and family and possibly connect and have the send power to the battery like maybe spare some of theirs kinda like a game perhaps. I really want to make something fun and somehow incorporate some fun and games into it. I want to be a good influence in general.
But when it comes to networks and security like secure socket layers I would definitely want whatever my product may be , to be, extremely secure. Especially when I had an idea about it being a paid service and transaction happening over the phone and internet and networks. I would not want any hackers to get into the database and steal information. That would be most unfortunate. Who knows what it could be my idea could evolve in so many ways. Maybe one day its something physical like a battery and then it is a facebook app thing where you have to log in and get points? Who knows? We will just have to wait and see.

blog #6

The topic of operating systems came up during a lecture and it made me wonder, whether or not it is a physical part of the phone internally or have an external part that would connect onto a phone or any other electronic device that would need a separate wire to charge it. Which as I said has got me thinking about if it were real would I make it available to all phones? Or sell it to a specific brand. Apple iOS or Android? Or even other mobile operating systems. Would it be an application on the itunes store? Would it be on the android market both? If it were only available to certain phone users what would happen I wonder. What would happen if I made it available to everyone.
I think operating systems is a very important topic when it comes to phone because a lot of people out there have their preferences and prefer certain things over the other. There are people out there who like Apple iOS over the Android and vice versa. So how would I be able to decide? How would I approach the idea of people's preferences and what people prefer. This can go back to using social media to conduct surveys to get peoples opinions on who would use it on what more. People are attracted to the look and feel of something if the user interface has a good appeal and easy to use I feel as if that is what would get the customer.
I think operating systems would be a big part in marketing and generating any product in general. If I were to actually make my product this would be a very big topic I would have to think about. Personally I like the android os. So I would have to think about other peoples thought and what they want and not just what I want to put out there. This is a lot harder than I thought it would be but going through the thought process is very interesting.

blog #5

Today's blog is going to talking about another blog. A professional blog. Like Techcrunch.com. They talk about everything technology and I am interested in that so I will be talking about a blog there by Greg Kumparak. He wrote a blog called "Want to see the next version of android? a bevy of ice cream sandwich screenshots leak". Which is just showing pictures and talking about like in the title the next version of android which is a big deal for techies.
I really like how in the blog the blogger is not being formal. He is not writing an article, he is just expressing his opinion and that adds a bit of humor into it. I like how he isn't addressing a certain crowd he is just saying what he wants to say. He also provides visuals for the reader and asking the audience questions asking whether they like it or not, giving them something to think about.
Something I don't like about the blog is it could be a little longer. Although I liked how he spoke what he thought and somewhat criticized google/samsung he could've talk more about google or samsung maybe a little backround into the ice cream sandwich. I think it would've been a little bit more useful and just make the blog look more fuller.
